Service-Learning Projects

Schools and youth groups can partner with World Vision on in-person or virtual Service-Learning projects, run in collaboration with overseas communities. World Vision guides teams through defining objectives, designing activities, and executing their programme to meaningfully address community needs.

In-person trips run up to two weeks, focusing on education and skills-building for local children and youth. Virtual projects deliver up to 20 hours of online programming via Zoom. Teams may also apply for the YEP or YEP-GO grant from Youth Corps Singapore to offset project costs.

Global 6K for Water

Global 6K for Water is a meaningful values in action (VIA) activity that gives youths and students the opportunity to step into the shoes of children in vulnerable communities who walk long distances every day to collect water that is often unsafe. Through completing a 6 km walk or run, the average distance many children walk daily for water, participants gain a deeper understanding of global poverty, develop empathy and compassion, and are empowered to put their values into action by helping bring clean water closer to children and families around the world.
