As a child sponsor, you have a special opportunity to build a one-on-one relationship with your sponsored child. We encourage you to do so by writing letters to them! Every letter, photo, or item they receive lets them know they are loved, thought of, and prayed over.
How To Write An E-Letter
Be Culturally Sensitive
Kindly refrain from writing about material possessions of topics that are culturally inappropriate. Be conservative in the choice of outfits in pictures you choose to send over.
Be Careful
Do not disclose sensitive information about yourself or your child. This includes using religious references in letters to children living in religious sensitive areas as this could endanger your sponsored child or World Vision staff.
Be Patient
Kindly allow at least 3 months (or slightly longer due to delays from unforeseen circumstances) for a reply from your sponsored child. Learn how we get your letters to where they need to go below!
Be Creative
You can choose to send over postcards, photos, and decorate them with paint, stickers or crayon.
Letter
In your letter, write the child’s name and ID number at the top of the page and your name and partner number at the end of the letter.
Front
Send only flat, inexpensive items such as bookmarks, maps, and stickers that can fit easily into an A4 sized envelope. Otherwise, duty charges may be incurred on the receiving end. If your sponsored child is in the West Bank, do note that the maximum envelope size allowed is A5. Addresses can be found below. Do not send your mail to World Vision Singapore.

On the back, write your sponsored child’s name and ID number.
